Carousel of Progress in September?

I know that the COP is open until the new Stitch attraction opens. We'll be in Disney the 3rd week of September. I understand that the new Stitch attraction will be opening around that time so will I be out of luck for seeing COP?? Thanks for any info!

From what Disney's site says it only gives Fall of 2004 (could be Sept, Oct or Nov) it doesn't give an exact day as of yet. So maybe CoP might be open when you go unless someone know otherwise. I wouldn't give up just yet.
