Okay so that's where were booked next month. I was happy with the trip advisor reviews, found it nice that management responded to just about every review on there! I liked how close it is to the parks, that it offers free breakfast. Rooms looked nice ect...

The pool I'm having difficulty with. Seems really small from the pictures, but I can't tell. So if anyone has stayed there, any review you have, is much appreciated (on everything, not just the pool).

Kinda worried that I should have booked hojo's. They were about the same price from what I've found. I was worried that by booking so late, that we might of gotten a freeway room for sure, and I'm a very light sleeper! But I love the look of their pools! Then I liked that the Carousel was even closer yet, so I don't know.

I'm already booked, I guess I just want some reassurance here! :lmao:

Someone went there recently who really gave it a nice review.

Here are a couple of pics of the rooftop pool:

I've never stayed at Hojo's so I can't make a comparison, but we just returned from DL last week after staying a the Carousel Inn for 6 nights. We booked the same room as we had last they went out of there way to make sure everything was o.k.
As far as the pool, it is small, but we just love the fact that it is on the rooftop. The veiw of the parks from there is great and the pool is nice and clean. We love the Carousel Inn and will stay there next time. The short walk to the parks also makes it great.:)

Part of my post is missing....so here it goes again...LOL

We booked the same room as we had last visit. The management was very nice and they went out of their way to make sure everything was ok.

I think were going to be happy with the Carousel Inn, just wish I could move the pool from Hojo's over there. LOL Being that close and the free breakfast is more important then the pool. The views from the breakfast room look fantastic too, and I like the idea of the pool on the roof. Just wish it was a tad bit bigger. But oh well can't have it all! LOL

Thanks for the reviews (and pictures) so far, very helpful!

We booked the 3-bedroom "View Suite" at Carousel. Only downside it is only 1-bathroom!

The hotel has repeatedly told me the "View Suite" is the only suite with a view of the fireworks.

However I read one review on a site that said you could get a View Suite (the are the room(s) right in front underneath the dining room on top) that is not the one just below the dining room but all the way down to the second floor (room 200) I assume then there is a third view suite on 3rf floor, room 300? The room 200 the view is partially block (horizontally) by a wall when sitting in the living room area.

I'm assuming those pictures above are from room 400 just below the dining room?

The pool at HoJo, the one you're thinking about, won't be open while you're there anyway. See Danger's post here, which was then backed up by Lorealle.

Just don't take very steamy showers that last longer than the fan in the bathroom, and then open the doors...because, um, when you do that, you set off the smoke detector. And that's loud. Especially at midnight.

Not that I did that or anything...:rolleyes1

I LOVE Carousel!! We have stayed in the Parkview room before and that is where we are staying again in May. It is pricy, but it is BIG and we share it with another family. The view is amazing and we watched the fireworks from our room. When we were there it was too cold to swim so I can't help you much there. The beds are very soft and comfy (so important after a long day at DL!) Carousel is SUPER close too! I have walked back to my room at midnight and thought how grateful I was that I didn't have to walk all the way to HOJO. I've never stayed at HOJO so I can't compare other than location. I think you made a good choice. You'll have to let us know how it goes. When are you going next month? Maybe I'll see you there! :thumbsup2
