We just need one tux (my groom) for our wedding. Is it any more expensive for them to come to our hotel room and do the fitting or will it be cheaper for us to go to the store? Does anyone have any experience with this? I figure if they are already at our room I might as well have them steam my dress. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Well if you know the tux you want then you may as well have them come to the room it doesn't cost any extra but you'd need to do it atleast the day before the wedding to check that it fits alright and if not then Carolyn has time to get the right size ready.

You could do the steaming at the same time but it makes no difference to Carolyn or to the price - she can always come the morning of the wedding so that the dress is freshly steamed on the day.

I'd get in touch with CA's and speak to Candace and talk it all through with her she's a great assistant to Carolyn and will advise you the best course of action.

If you are looking for cheaper alternatives, Men's Wearhouse quoted me starting at $89.99 for a tux, but you must pick it up and drop it off.

I am using Carolyn Allen's though (at $138 a pop!! ) because the groomsmen agreed they wanted the delivery and pickup rather than having to go out anywhere.

We had a great experience with CA's, they don't charge any extra for the on-site fitting and delivery and pick up.
