Which do you prefer? I have reservations for both breakfast and lunch this weekend and trying to decide which one to cancel.

LUNCH
knock out a few rides first thing in the morning before the crowd arrives

I'd do Lunch

- When we went there for breakfast a few weeks ago, it seemed like all the breakfast items are made off site now. Pancakes were SUPER dry.

I've done both previously and LOVED lunch a lot better. Lots of the iconic ones like the chili, potatoes soup and fried pickles were tasty!
Better as a mid day break meal too.
I'm sad they discontinued their tasty hot chocolate beverage

I would vote late breakfast....love Mickey waffles but I haven't seen the current menus.

We are doing breakfast and lunch this coming trip. Will come back with our preference after. Before the menu change, I liked breakfast better (lunch was good too though...)

Yeah a few years ago I would have said breakfast. But looking at the menu now, lunch looks better/more options.

I haven't been able to get one either.....and we always go there for lunch one day

Was there last week for breakfast, twice. I can say that they were definitely turning people away. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

My parents are there right now and two Carnation Cafe reservations popped up last night, for today. Because I'm bored and envious of them being there, I've been checking reservations to see if I can snag them anything good. Good stuff has been coming up the night before, I think people are cancelling before the deadline to be charged.

We were there this past Sunday and had a breakfast reservation. I asked if they were doing a waitlist for lunch and was told they are. We were told to go there at 11am and they will put you on a waitlist for lunch. I assume there are only so many available so I would imagine you can be turned away if you don't snag a table in time.
