Day One-Leaving Day, Welcome bags, and Cinderella's Royal Table
SO.. Since I hadn't slept hardly at all the night before we left ( or basically the entire month before we left) I woke about 4:30 A.M. to pack the car and get ready to go.
At the last minute I realized I had forgotten to add tags to Welcome bags, re-wrapped my bouquet for the fourth time, loaded half the car-then unloaded it because I forgot about the chocolates, and colored my hair.
It was the busiest morning ever!
My mom was home most of the morning because her therapy wasn't until later that morning..so she went and got me some Hardee's cinnamon raisin bicuits...I LOVE those!!
After that I attempted to re-color my hair back to its natural color...while at the same time not ruining my nails that I had just gotten done the night before.. it was successful.but took forever. Because I had procrastinated so much.. I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off by this point. I hadn't even finished packing!
Finally... Mom had left for therapy...and it was close enough to leaving time that I could load all the stuff into my car. I had to put the chocolate favors on the bottom, because the box they were in wouldn't fit any other way.. so I re-arranged my car about 10 times..by the time I got in my car, I realized I had forgotten to move my seat back and it was so packed behind me, that it wouldn't re-adjust!
That was the straightest I have ever sat in my seat!
While I was running in and out of the house to grab stuff to load the car with, my two doggies just sat and watched right at the front door..I think they knew I was leaving them!
Here's my car when I finished cramming it; my poor little Tc barely made it!
And here's what we did to my back window... I wrote it, then mom tried to trace it to make it darker...but I think she made it look like a first grader got ahold of my back window...either way it was still pretty fun!
And my antenna topper that my mom has had for about 8 years! She bought them in Disney when my sister got married.. but bought one for me and kept it in her closet until I got married..it's a good thing she did, because I haven't seen them in the stores since she bought them!
About half way down we stopped at Chick-fil-A,( I can't eat anywhere else if I am with my sister!)
I walked in with my "almost married" button and my Disney Bride shirt.. and I think the entire restaraunt congratulated me...
All the rest of the way.. trucks kept honking! It was funny.. because it scared us everytime!
And the sign we all see driving down 1-4 and laugh..... :LOLLOL:
And the sign we all love!!!!!!
I think I have about 50 different shots of this sign!
Right after we got into property a car passed us laying on the horn.. so I thought it was someone we knew.. There were about four people hanging out of the windows waving! It was pretty surprising! They all looked so happy for me!
After that we checked into our one night at the Coronado Springs, rested for about five minutes, and got right to work on our welcome bags!
Here's our room at the Coronado
And here's what it looked like when got the welcome bag stuff spread out!
And my sister...doesn't she look so happy to be helping me.
And the finished product...
Here's what was in our bags:
A complete list of what we have:
A small bag of kleenex
a personal fan
germ-x wipes
Small bags of munchies
Lay's cracker crisps
pistachios
honey and oat bars
rice krispies
labeled bottled water
A welcome letter
mapquest directions
door hangers
Strawberry Fig Newtons
The only place we had trouble dropping off bags at was the Coronado. They seemed to have to clue what to do with the bags. And they had the most.
GF forgot to give my mom hers.. but we called the front and it was delivered. As far as I know, everyone else got their bags.
Up Next: Cinderella's Royal Table...
I have to rob my sister of her camera this weekend! She's got all those!
