Caribe Royale, is it THAT BAD?

OK, my friend's main request is that the room have a Jacuzzi tub in it. I am finding very few. I got it narrowed down to Caribe Royale, made the reservation and everything. I did notice though that I wasn't finding a picture of the bathroom at all though and the ones I did see make it look like the bathroom is pretty small.

SO, I go to tripadviser and read a bunch or reviews on this hotel, hoping someone says something about them. The reviews are BAD! They have 115 reviews, and so many of the most recent ones...in the last month...aren't very favorable! SO, I am very discouraged?

The main worry I have, from what reviewers said, was that it is outdated and worn looking. Is this true??

Never stayed at the Caribe Royale, but the Wyndham Palms has jacuzzi tubs for two that are to die for right in the master bed/bath. We love it there. Great big rooms with full kitchen, living room, one to three BR's, two full baths, and a great screened porch with table and chairs. It's also closer to Disney, and the access is much easier. Takes about 5-8 minutes in much less heavier traffic.

Do a search for Wyndham, then a search for the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club.

I did look at that resort and for some reason I didn't like it. I will look at get back to you as to why and you can commment on it....please!

Check out the King bed suite at Buena Vista Suites. All King Suites have a 2 person whirl pool tub. The nice thing is that all members of your party get a free american buffet free each day.

The 1 and 2 BRs at Vistana also have jacuzzi tubs and the prices I have seen are always less than Caribe Royale. I would bet most of the timeshare properties have them and at the majority of them you can also stay as a per night guest, not a timeshare week.
