I'm trying to book a place for our vacation 1/30-2/11/14 and I'm so confused. We have 4 kids so I was looking at condos then my dh saw pool homes and really wants one. I'm trying to keep the cost low since this is kind of a last minute trip and budget is tight.
I am trying to decide between caribe cove and regal palms. I think caribe cove looks nicer but its so hard to tell and regal has some great prices! We want to all sleep on the same level. I don't feel comfortable with my little ones so far away in a strange place.
Which one of these would you recommend ORis it possible to find a pool home for under 1500? Thank you so much for any insight, I am totally confused and am tired of looking aimlessly.

I don't think either one of those have pool homes, it's either condos or townhouses.
I haven't stayed at these but they were on my short list for Oct.

These are close to the AK side of Disney. You may find cheaper further away in Davenport /or on 27.

Thank you so much!!! All of those look really nice. I've contacted them for price quotes. I keep finding that the nightly rate goes up quite a bit once fee's and pool heat is included.

I do know neither one of those have pool homes, but if we end up going the condo route those are the ones I was looking at. I'm just not sure we'll find a pool home in our price range with sleeping for five on the same level. My husband wants it all but I'm trying to be reasonable with our budget to use on other things while there.

Regal palms has a really good lagoon pool with slides so its great for young kids. You'll find a good selection of townhouses at Regal Palms on a website called Regal Palms Private Rentals if that helps.
Thanks,
Dave

Also check out villadirect dot com. I was looking at 4 and 5 bedroom homes and they had a bunch for under $100 a night, so I bet you could find a good deal on a 3 bedroom.

If you are looking for a good deal, I used hotwire to book Caribe Royale. It was one of the "secret deals" but I was able to deduce that it was the Caribe because it said "hurry the last person that booked this deal got the Caribe Royal". anyay I got it for $80 a night and there are no extra parking or resort fees!!! So excited. We will be down for a long weekend next weekend.

Caribe Royale resort! They have a two bedroom that has 1 king 2 doubles and a fold out couch in the living room. Nice size kitchen with a full size fridge perfect for traveling with kids!!!

We've stayed in Orlando at Caribe Cove twice; once in Aug 2010, and again in Oct 2013. We drive down from Northern Alabama, and have 4 kids and 3 adults staying together. The nice thing about this place is that everyone can stay together with plenty of space, and it is pretty nice and new as of our stay.

Regal Palms has spacious town homes at very reasonable prices, many under $99/night. The pool area is fabulous with a slide and lazy river, tiki bar and they have servers that will serve you at the pool. Weekly pool side movies are great, as well as a very large kids arcade. It is conveniently located within minutes to the 192 and close to I4. You can also walk to the Berry Town center which has a Publix and several restaurants including an Applebees.

I don't recommend booking through a tour operator because your villa gets assigned randomly to you when you check in. They are all privately owned and some are not as nice as others.

You can find plenty here: http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/florida/central-disney-orlando/davenport/regal-palms

Good luck!
