Caribbean or PORS?

Happy Tuesday! Here is my dilemma - after waiting too long to book, the moderate options available for the military rate during our stay are PORS (royal rooms only,in Magnolia Bend) or Caribbean Beach. We really wanted POFQ, as it's our favorite (the only one we stay at!!)- but they only had king bed rooms left, fine for me and DH but not the in laws and 2 kids ;) Its about $200 more for PORS. Is it worth it - do y'all like it or should we go CBR? Thanks so much in advance!! :)!

We loved cbr and I think their pool is the best of the moderates. The rooms are large with 2 sinks but.... They only have full size beds which is a deal breaker for some, didn't bother us. The resort was beautiful and tranquil and even though was at capacity for our stay, never felt crowded. It is large and spread out but I think some greatly over exaggerate its size on these boards. We stayed in the furthest building from the pool and food court and it was a 7-10 minute walk.

I haven't stayed at POR but we have toured it and it is very lovely as well. It is also large and spread out too. The pool looks fun for kids and it does offer boat service to DTD. And it has queen beds.

Maybe look at you tube videos and see which one you like the looks of best?

We've never stayed at POR, but we loved CBR :). The grounds were beautiful, the pool was fun, the food court was great with alot of variety, and the bus transportation was the best we've had out of all the resorts we've stayed at :thumbsup2. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at CBR again, although I don't think you can go wrong with either resort as POR gets alot of rave reviews :goodvibes.

Our vote goes to POR, queen beds, great FC, better family entertainment with Yeehaa Bob, boat to DTD and you can go over to POFQ for a visit and beinets:) Plus being in the RGR, you already know you are either in Oak Manor or Parterre Place.

DH and I just got back from POR.We loved it! The grounds are beautiful and the resort grounds itself are much smaller than CBR. I am not a fan of having to ride internal resort buses. We did that a fort wilderness and much prefer being able to walk from our room to the main building. From the mansions to the pool or main building it was probably a 5 minute walk.

The food court was wonderful. plenty of choices for everyones taste. Also we had dinner at Boatwrights and it was one of our favorite meals on our trip. Also on Wed. through Sat. YeeHaw Bob has a show in the lounge thats a lot of fun for all ages. POR is now our favorite resort. already planning another trip. Its definitely worth it IMO.:)

I was leaning towards POR, because of love for POFQ, but was scared about all the busing there -- spoiled by 1 stop at POFQ ;) but yall are making it easy on me.... I think if I can convince MIL to splurge a little on theirs, that's where we will end up! Thanks, everyone - I love hearing why people love it - makes it easier about not getting my first choice!

There is an internal shuttle at CBR, but its still a very walkable resort. The pirate rooms are the furthest out, however, it sounds as though you would be in a standard room.

I love both resorts! We have stayed at POR 3x, CBR 2x.

If your kids are under 8, the pool at CBR is ideal and hard to beat.

They are both very spread out, but well designed resorts.

A POR room will be newly refurbbed with queen beds, CBR rooms are bright and cheerful and a bit larger.

You cannot go wrong!

I will add that POR is not much smaller than CBR. Nothing like Ft. Wilderness as far as size.
