Caribbean Beach - Which room?

Hi
Please can you help? I will be staying at CBR next year and would like some advice on which island to stay at.
Ideally would like one near the lake to see the Epcot firework, the best pool for an 8yr and 5 mins from food court/buses.

I have read that some islands are too far away and dont want to make the wrong choice?

any recommendations?
