You will have a great time in either location. You should call the reservation line to add this request. You will not actually be speaking to the resort if you are calling the hotel but a call center.

We got back tonight at 11:00 pm from a 9 day stay at CBR. We gots lots of pixie dust and had a great time. Only had issues with buses.

We arrived on the 15th a day early of our Free Dining Package, we did this so we could get settled and give my youngest a down day; she had been a camp for a week prior to our trip and she needed it. She has epilepsy and her seizures are triggered mainly by interrupted sleep or sleep deprivation, so we had requested a room in a quiet area, and the room they gave us was anything but, so we called down to the front desk and they worked very hard to find something that would work. Finally after 20 minutes of trying this and that, Stacey was able to get us moved to Martinique 2606. This room was wonderful. It was close to OPR and both OPR's and Martinique's Bus stop.

We ate at OPR twice and both times food was good, hot and as we requested. DH and DD shared a burger and fries 1 night just before closing and they were very happy with it.

We didn't get any towel animals but we weren't expecting any either, so nothing lost and nothing gained!

The buses were another story unto themselves. One evening we waited 40 minutes to see a bus to Epcot, and during that time we saw 4 to MK, 3 to DHS and 2 to AK. It was very frustrating!! We also saw similar situations at the parks with trips back to the resort. Many times, we'd see buses come for other resorts 2 and 3 times without any sight of a bus to CBR. The buses were extremely frustrating.

We were offered a Bounceback offer for Free Dining again next year, so DH and I talked about it and we decided to book, so we are booked for 10 days next Aug. We are so excited.

We had a great vacation with a few bumps!!

Welcome back! Glad to hear you had a nice stay at CBR! I can't believe you had such bus issues though. That's too bad. We experienced just the opposite. Did you try calling and complaining? I have done this before (not at CBR) if the wait has been over 20 minutes. They usually send one right out.

Well that stinks! Could have been an off week. When we were there last they had signs at each bus stop saying that they were testing a new bus schedule/service and 2 of the stops had CM's with clipboards. And since we only waited over 5 minutes once all week I thought that whatever they were doing must be great! Sorry you had to experience long waits, it can be irritating.

Hi;

This is our second time staying at CBR We will be there on Sep 7 - 16.

First time we went ds5 loved the "pirate swimming pool" so much that when we told him about our plan to go back he was so excited and ask us to please make our ress. to stay at the "pirate swimming pool" resort again.

Now, I paid for prefered room not because the view but becuase we wanted to be close to the "pirate swimming pool" since we know he would want to go every day. But, also I'm renting a ECV for myself (back problem, surgery after disney vac) and I wonder if I should let them now so they could give me first floor room. And if anyone know if I will be able to charge the ECV from the outside or do I have to bring it inside the room.

I would love the room be a Martinique 25, since it look closer from the Port Royal, what do you expert think. If I ask first floor and Martinique 25, is this will be too much to ask?

Here now, Cbr building #24. Just wanted to say thank you to all of you who work so hard to make this thread so wonderful with so many tips!! People use on-line check in, it cut our arrival wait down to less than 5 minutes after arrival and we were checked in and on the way to the room in less than 10 minutes after we arrived to the resort. This is my 3rd stay here, the resort itself seems very empty. Went to mk and hs yesterday, wait's were in the 30 minute area, even Toy story mania had a 35 minute wait @ about 8pm. A short 10 minute down pour and t was sunny again, yesterday. We are off to epcot and then mk tonight. Buses @ the resort are one right after another and seem empty.

I just returned from my staty at the CBR and had the best sleep ever! I meant to look at the mattress before I left and forgot, does anyone know what mattress they use at the resort?

I just wondered if any had an updated list of the bus routes around CBR (which villages first, middle, last, etc.) to get to/from the parks and DTD. The last post of the routes was from quite a few months ago. Thanks again for the help!
