Carhire3000 - what was your car like.

Have just got a quote from them which is substantially cheaper. Can anyone confirm if they have rented via Carhire3000.

I just read a post that said the cars were older and dirty. Is this the case and how do you find out which rental company your car ultimately comes from.

I am looking for three weeks 7 seater, most quotes are around £750 mark but with Carhire3000 its approx £593. On top of that (I think) there is 7% cashback through quidco.

We booked with them when we went to Los Angeles a couple of years ago and had no problems. We picked our car up from Dollar. They only use the larger rental companies so, if they are cheaper than booking direct I would go with them.

Booked them last year car was with dollar, was very impressed with the service and would use them again.

We've booked with them for our trip and we got dollar, don't know why someone would say their cars are older or dirty as they use the normal rental places, so you would get the same car if booked direct.
I think if you give them a call they will tell you what car hire company the booking will be with. (if you do it on line you don't know until you purchase, although you can pretty much guess).

Just paid our balance and go our voucher for May and it's with Dollar.

I checked before I booked by calling them as we prefer Dollar.

yep we used them and got the car from Dollar at Sanford airport, no probs, cars all seemed lovely! we had a jeep liberty, silver, new and clean.

Just checked my tom Tom last night, updated my maps in 2006 but our rental address is on there. Parks haven't moved so not sure if there is any point upgrading my US maps - it will save me £45.
