Make sure you mention the code. There are AP rate and then there are AP rates. I called once and for a value resort I was quoted $402 for 4 days and couldn't figure out why it was that much....so I said I would get back to them....then I called back again.....guess what....I had to argue with the lady that the online amount was different and she told me to go online and book it....So in my nice tone...I said.....it says to use SXS promotion code...why don't you please use it.....the price went down to $345! Double check your math...not all the TA got the news!

It may not be a case of them not getting the news. The guests calling in need to ask for it, and probably by code.

I had to literally convince her to try the code. Then she didn't apologize....really irks me.

Another post has the AP room only rate as PWE? Are there more than one AP code for rooms? I'm confused!! How do I know I have the right code for the most savings?

All I asked for was the Annual Passholder rate. I got CSR for $145.12 with tax. Not that great, but still saved us $40 per night, for 3 rooms (had to have a pass for each room) for 2 nights. Saved us $243 over rack rates for the 3 rooms. But we had to go with CSR instead of POR.

Take my word for it....it could be cheaper....they quoted me the passholder rate, but since I was on the WDW passholder website, it was giving me the Oct - Dec rate cheaper. The code is online.

Apparently...I got mine from the WDW passholder website. Was trying to book it online, but I had problems.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!! We are going Oct. 31st-Nov 9th. You just saved me another $180 for my 2 rooms over 9 nights at Pop, was paying $99 weekends and $89 weekdays, now paying $74 first 2 nights and $84 remaining 7 nights. Took me about 40 minutes to get it straitened out, ended up booking two individual rooms online, one with DH's pass one with mine, then canceled the original reservation, and connected the new ones on the phone. Tried to do everything on the phone but they were not able to find that rate with the code. Oh well it all worked out in the end.
While I was online I checked some other online rates for that code to share, got AKL Standard $200, Mod first two days $114 last 7 $129, Coronado was not avail all the dates, Most of the Deluxes were not available for the entire stay so I just checked first 4 nights and GF, garden $360, Beach $295 standard, Contemp. $290 garden/wing, WL Courtyard $255, w/bunk $280, cabin $224-239.
Hope this helps someone.
Donna

The rates I was quoted online were the exact same rates I was quoted on the phone with the PWE code.

I'm confused. :confused3

The rate we got for GF was only discounted 17.25%, which seems low. Last year it was over 45% for BWI, plus a $75 dining card.

If there is another AP rate out there I'd like to know. Where did you find it? I know online, but the specific letter combinations.

Try SXS, it is on the Disney.com AP site!!

Where? I'm on there right now and I don't see it. Besides, what it is giving me online is exactly the same rates they gave me over the phone. Availability is different though. When I asked CRO about that the CM told me that CRO and online ressies are given different inventory.

THIS IS WHERE I GOT CODE!!:surfweb:

Is it odd that when I used the passholder website to try to book August 29-Sept 1, I was given a cheaper than rack rate price even though these dates are supposedly blocked out because of the holiday weekend?

According to the post above yours that weekend is not blocked out, or even included. Maybe it is a different promotion? :confused3 And even if it was blocked out, that would just mean you could not arrive on that day. Guests can stay during block periods. They just can't arrive during a blocked out period on a code.
