I was initially planning on arriving at HS around 1pm...after lunch at the CBR...but found that I couldn't fit everything into a 1pm to 12am day.....so I gave in and will likely do a full day at HS.

Since DW, DD4 and DS8 loves to go to see ALL of the shows and ride the more popular kids rides ( TSM and Star Tours ) but are too afraid to ride the more exciting rides ( specifically Tower of Terror and the Aerosmith Roller Coaster ), can someone share your plans for Hollywood Studios?

I am shoring up my plans for Hollywood Studios with Extra Magic Hours and am trying to figure out what "plan of attack" that I should have.

EDIT - Admin, I apologize...I didn't realize that I was in the Resort forum when I created this thread...can you move this to the "Theme Park Strategies" forum?

What ever time you arrive, go to TSMM first to get FP. Then to to Star Tours. Back lot Tour. Then you can work in the shows and other rides the kids are interested in.
If you like the thrill rides, you and husband can do child swap for TOT, and the Coaster.

Thanks....it sounds like the rule of thumb is to get the FP for TSMM first than go through Star Tours. Does either Star Tours or TSMM run out of FP by noon time?

If they do...how long of a wait should I expect for TSMM or Star Tours for just a regular crowded Monday? 90 minutes from getting to line to exiting the ride for each ride?

chances are TSMM will be out of FP's by noon. Depending on when you are going I've seen a wait time up to 2 hours before (was peak season)

If you don't mind riding Rockin Roller Coaster alone the single rider line will be much shorter than the regular line. We waited 40 minutes for it in the regular line when it was out of FPs one evening during EMH (again peak)
