Cards - Button questino

Hi all! My first ever card making stash arrived today - a 6 oz bag of assorted Christmas Buttons I bought from Create and Craft, I am still waiting for my card to arrive so I cant use them as yet. Does anyone have any good tips / advice on using buttons with cards, or any other uses for them - scrapbooking maybe (I havent even started my first scrapbook page yet!)

Glue dots. The best adhesive ( besides sewing them on).

Thanks Nicki - I have bought some regular PVA glue, do you think that will be strong enough??

What is PVA glue ? I just started making cards and this might save me using up all my "scrap" adhesive.

Sorry Nicki I shouild have said. PVA is the white glue that dries clear - the kind that kids use at school because it doesnt ruin the clothes etc... Know what I mean??

Oh ! I'm not sure that the white glue will hold up the weight of a button . Have you ever been to twopeas website ? They maybe able to give you more answers.

Another vote for Glue Dots... for buttons, I use the "Mini" Glue Dots. I bought mine for $4... it has 250 dots.
