I had some blood tests done recently (before our trip to Disney) and the doctor informed me that my sugar was high, and has been for the last two blood tests. They preformed another test that shows what my blood sugar has done in the last three months to my body. SOOOOOOO he instructed me to go to Disney and have a good time and then we would deal with this. SO this past week I went to a dietician and I am on a low carb diet but not one to lose weight. I am okey for my size and age and build. SO 45 carbs for breakfast and the same for dinner and supper and 15 carbs for a snack. She laughed when I told her I had eliminated the fats and stuff and ran to the pasta foods. She asked how big a plate of pasta do you have and I replied......THIS MUCH.....meaning the plate full. SO one cup of pasta and a half cup of sauce is my limit. Of course I have been instructed to eat a big salad at the beginning of my meal to cut down my WANTING more spaghetti. I do not want Diabetes to hit me so I will try to be good. I WILL be good I should say. I am having a little hard time because I am also trying to cut out the cholesterol high foods too. Any good suggestions for foods or meals

Sounds like you have a plan!!! I am so much happier since I gave up sugar and bad carbs.

Good luck!! :cheer2:
