Caramel Apple of the Month Flavor for June?

My husband is obsessed with the caramel apples at DLR, but he doesn't like the cute Mickey or whatever ones. He likes the huge ones with nuts and chocolate and whatever else. Previously they have changed the flavor every month, but I don't know if they still do that.

All of the pictures I have seen posted lately are of the cute (but not tasty, according to him) Pixar apples, so I am wanting to make sure they also have the kind he likes, too. If they don't, I'm going to have to learn to make them and take them with us to keep him happy.

And if you happen to know the current flavor, I'm sure he would love to know.

I think half of his excitement over visiting DLR is for the caramel apples. They actually have their own budget in our Disney vacations. Bribery for getting my not Disney crazy hubby into visiting every couple of years. Which is why I would rather not make them.. I don't want to lose my leverage.

I don't have any idea of the flavor, but do have a really dumb question....How the heck do you eat them? I've always looked at them, but the thought of trying to bite into that big thing with all that stuff on it just intimidates me!!

I don't know what other people do, but he gets one when we are headed back to our hotel, either for a break or for the night, and then cuts it into slices and eats it that way.

They used to cut them for you at Marceline's but now only give a plastic knife to customers
