We are going to WDW next week 11/14-11/22. We will be going to US&IOA for 2days. We have a rental car reserved for those days, but so far the cheapest rate I can find is $85. Then we would still have to pay to park at US&IOA (anyone know how much to park)... plus we would have to drive there and we haven't even been to Orlando in 15yrs. I'm trying to decide if we would just be better off taking a cab or shuttle to US&IOA and using the WDW transportation the rest of the time.... any ideas on how much it would cost to take a cab or shuttle to US&IOA from ASsp resort for 2adults and 2children?

Mears transportation is about $16/pp roundtrip.

I would keep the rental car. It will give you more flexibility which is something that you will need with the kids. It is 11.00 per day to park at all the parks in Orlando currently. It isn't hard to find your way to Universal from Disney. As long as you can find I-4, you'll be ok. There are 3 exits to get off at Universal and all of them are well labeled.
