We're flying to Bermuda in August. We haven't flown for many years.

Do my two children (4 and 6) need car seats on the airplane? My 4 yr old is now in a booster (he is over 40 inches tall). I assume they don't and I see on the AC website that boosters can't be used. So....no seats right?

Nope. Can't use a booster on the plane, because a booster needs a lap/shoulder belt and planes only have lap belts. How do you plan to get from the airport to your hotel? If you're renting a car, you'll need to take the boosters to use in the rental car, but if you're taking a bus, there likely won't be any seatbelts on the bus, so no need for a booster there either.

Thanks for your help. We'll be taking either a taxi or a bus to our hotel. You can't rent cars in Bermuda - bus, taxi or moped.

I read allot about car seats on planes and the results are split if they would do anything in a crash...not that booster can go.

We have never used them since the kids need more room to move around on a long flight.
