Car seat?

We are bringing our 5 month old along on our trip. We are bringing the car seat and stroller. Does anyone know if he will be required to ride in the car seat from the airport (using Disney Magical Express) and on the buses to the park? I would really hate to have to transport him in a car seat to the park. What would we do with the car seat there? I use a baby carrier, but not sure if they would allow him to ride out of his seat on the buses. Anyone know?

I have never seen a baby in a carseat on the bus...so I don't think you will need it to go to the parks...I don't know about the ride to the hotel....

Like the previous poster, I have never seen a baby in a car seat on a bus. They are held in their parent's lap. My daughter used Magical Express so I asked her about the car seats on the ME buses. She said that she sat beside a lady with a child and she was holding her child in her lap. No car seat was used.

There are no seat belts on the buses. No car seat needed.

Don't need a carseat for the buses to the parks either. If you plan on using Disney transport exclusively, you don't need a carseat.

I have and 1 and 4 yo.Spoke to Disney ME and they advised that on commercial vehicles/buses no seatbelts so no car seat required. I didnt feel comfortable with that on the highway so what we did last year and are going to do again in Apr is use mears car svc. It costs about $70 each way plus the cost of car seats(i think $25per seat) and they have a booster seat and toddler car seat for my children.. We did however use wdw bus to AK and MGM from the GF. My DH and I just held them on our laps..

As the others have mentioned, you will not need a car seat to ride the buses to the parks.
