Car seat requirement

I understand CA law requires car seats when using Uber or Lyft but what is the law when using a shuttle bus? My granddaughter is 4, but very small for her age, and is still in a 5-point car seat at home. What would she need if we stay in a hotel a couple miles from the parks, where we can catch a shuttle?

It depends on the type of shuttle. If it’s an actual bus, no car seat is required. If it’s a van, you’ll need a car seat.
