dOES ANYONE HAVE GOOD RATES ON ANY CAR RENTALS THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? IF SO WHAT IS IT AND WHAT CODES DID YOU USE.i'M LOOKING FOR aPRIL26 TO MAY 4. HELP

I haven't checked MouseSavers as the previous poster suggested and I will (thanks!), but I checked those in Costco/Travel and they are not as good as what I got with Enterprise and coupon code is EMMRC7 for 15% off.

The full-size 4-door car I booked for 11 days is for $278 US, excluding insurance but included fees and taxes.

Hope that helps.

I can't get the National website to work right now, but Mousesavers has some great codes. Priceless and Entertainment are the codes that work best - you'll have to read the website for more details.

I got a 9 day rental of an "intermediate" for $143 USD including all taxes. Plus, it's Emerald Aisle which means we just go to a line of cars, pick one, and we're on our way w/o stopping at the reservation counter first (just go to the booth at the end.)

Edited to add: I finally got the National site to work. I put in your dates for Orlando (I assume that's what you wanted) - pickup and dropoff at MCO. 8 day rental. With the two codes from Mousesavers, you're looking at $171 USD including the taxes, etc.

Hipmaman, you might want to check National as well with the Mousesavers codes. I'm not sure of your exact dates, so I guessed at May 7-18 (11 days.) For an intermediate, it looks like the rate is 169 for your 11 days incl taxes and fees. For a "full size" it's about $233.

Just wanted to share a tip I got from the cruise thread (we're going Thanksgiving 2005). that Budget rental will accept Sams' Club membership for an additional discount. they did not ask for my membership number even :goodvibes (but I am a legit member) anyway, got a full size car from MCO $30 and returning at Cape Canaveral even next day. Thought it was a great deal !!

Thanks, I will check with National. I need it for May 7 to 18 and full-size because guarantee 4-door (2 kids in carseats). Can you tell me what combination of codes you used to get the $233?

I tried various combinations and the best I can get is $272.49 with upgrade from intermediate to standard (again 2 or 4 door and they don't guarantee what we will get).

Thanks in advance.

Ok I tried again for your dates using the codes from Mousesavers (Priceless and Entertainment. One is a contract code, one is a coupon code. Check the site.)

Intermediate: $175.97 for 11 days.
Standard: $233.75 for 11 days.
Full size: $242.75 for 11 days.

It does seem like you aren't guaranteed a four door.... but I signed up with Emerald Aisle (again, check the Mousesavers site) and it means you can just go to the Aisle of intermediate cars when you arrive, pick one you like, and take it. You could ask on the Transportation board, but I am willing to bet that there are probably lots of 4 door cars available on the Emerald Aisle at any given time. I haven't tried it though.

Just a thought for you :)
