I posted on the Transportation board and have yet to get much in the way of an answer.

With Budget car rental can you use a BCD# and a coupon code? Their website allows you to enter the info but they don't show it in the confirmation. Plus, the coupons don't come off the total until after you return the car. It's just hard to see exactly what I will be paying and have confidence in it.

Yes you can use BCD Number and Coupon Code. The amount of the coupon will be applied when you return the vehicle.

Thanks...that only took 4 mintues. I posted my other thread a couple of days ago. Got some info but not what I was looking for. I did look on Mousesavers but didn't see anything that gave me a 'yes'.


I've been playing with codes/coupons and found a good combo for our trip. I hate that the final rate is not shown.

I usually rent from Alamo...is the Budget return at MCO similar? We just pulled up and a guy came with a hand held bar code scanner to process us.

There is one coupon code that is on the Transportation board that you can use, but the $30 comes off after you return the car.

The best code I found is the Travelocity code, I booked my rental in July for this month and it is still the cheapest I could get on a mini van. At the time I was saving $400 but now I am saving $1500.

The Travelocity code didn't give me a good rate...it was 3rd lowest. The best I got was the one from Rental Car Momma. I also got the same rate from an American Airlines code that came from rentalcodes.com.

The coupon code that I got from Mousesavers...I thought was for $30 off actually says 'from $30 off'. So I'm sticking with the BCD & coupon code combo from Costco.com. It will bring the price in at $195 including everything and I have an actual paper coupon in my hand. If I were to risk it with the Mousesavers coupon the rate could be, if it's actually $30, $181.

March Break is just an expensive time to be renting.....I'll keep looking but when I started out with this the rates were around $400-450 so I think I've done well.

I book on the Costco.com site. Currently looking at Aug. rentals. yikes Alamo is really high, and Budget was several hundred $ lower. So I've booked Budget for now.
I pick up car in Ft. Lauderdale, for 1st part of vacay, and return it after we check in at WDW. Which is why I prefer Alamo, easy return to CCC.
Budget return is at DTD Doubletree, so not awful.

When you book it shows the Rental with Costco Discount, then they take the $30 coupon off at rental.

We are going from March 15 to 22nd (8 days since we return after the 24 hour window).

Originally I got US$261 all in for a midsize car through Southwest. Was quite happy with that rate since every other site seemed to be $400+.

Just booked through Expedia.ca for the same dates and same size car. Budget (great since there's no fee for the additional driver (spouse)). Cdn$185 all in!

Totally happy now!
