I can see transportation maps on MDE, which is helpful but we will have a rental and wanted to know outside of blizzard Beach where it’s definitely quicker to use our car and not use Disney transportation. We are staying at Saratoga and plan on Park hopping. I know that Disney transportation is best for Magic kingdom because of the TTC.
We plan on going to quite a few resorts (wilderness lodge, Rivera, AKL,) for dinner as well. TIA!

If you have Adr at a different resort especially in the morning or evening where it’s not just hopping a bus from a nearby park. Going to DS normally but since you’re at Saratoga Springs not really applies. Waterpark. I don’t find the HS parking lot too bad if you are doing HS/Epcot. Definitely not MK since you get much closer with the bus than parking lot and then ferry/monorail.

in the past, we’d tend to drive our car to all the parks except MK. However, the parking trams haven’t come back to DHS or Epcot yet, and the buses drop off closer to the park entrances than most of the parking spaces are - maybe not a consideration on arrival, but definitely one when leaving after a long day! The parking lot tram is running at AK, but I read recently that it makes only one stop, so it can be a long walk to one’s car anyway, and again the bus stop is closer. Your party may be in better shape than we are, in which case the extra steps might not matter.

Another factor - if we’re eating at a resort and will need transportation back to our resort afterwards, we’ll usually drive to the park and from there to dining - getting from one resort to another can be pretty awkward if they’re not in walking distance to each other.

IMO, I would say use the car just for visits to other resorts or AK.. IMO, MK, Epcot, DHS, and even DS are all easiest to access via WDW transportation..

I agree with PP, the monorail or ferry ride from the TTC to the MK, is likely to be less then the wait for a bus followed by.a tour of your resort to pick up other pax.

Drive everywhere, unless you'll be enjoying adult beverages
