Car Rental through MS?

If you've done this, how were prices, convenience, all the regular questions...any tips or suggestions? Will they apply any discount codes? Do DVC members get any discount anyway?

Looking for 2 minivan rental next Jan or Feb? DebbieB was kind enough to post National/Alamo offices, and numbers for me on the Transportation Board, it occurred to me that if I could work smarter, not harder that there may be a "better deal" through MS...

Here's what we're thinking...
Fly into MCO, FLTours to BCV for a few days
The rest of the Family arrives, move to rented house for 10 days with vehicles(renting points a no-go )
Family departs, return vehicles to Car Care Centre
Few more days at BCV..can anyone say relax??

So far MS has given me the best car rental car prices and I have checked mousesavers codes and everything. It is definitely easier to pick up the phone and call MS as they price several different rental agencies.

I will continue to check but so far MS has given me the best prices. If they come out less expensive I will be thrilled, because checking all those codes is very consuming.

I had MS take care of my vehicle rental last year. They booked me with Alamo where I got a nice Chrysler mini-van.

It was a discount rate, but the problem was, when I wanted to add my wife as a driver, they charged me an additional arm & leg.

They also tried to sell me a bunch of stuff that was really going to add to the bill. I realize they are in the business to make money, but I really despise car rental companies, because I think they lure you in with discounts and then sock it to you when you need the car.

Anyway, I picked the van up right at the Orlando airport and had it for a week. I simply returned it to the airport on the way to my flight. It worked well.
