Car rental on St Maarten

I looking for information on renting a car in St Maarten. Are there any agencies that are located at the pier ? Has anyone has any good or bad expierences with any agencies ?

Hello MagicMouseketeers--

We rented a Toyota Corolla through Hertz on St. Maarten for $60. This includes unlimited mileage and use of the car for the entire day.

One good thing about this office is that they will deliver the car right to the pier. And, you just drop it off at the pier before boarding the ship.

As far as the service, condition of the car, etc.... I'll have to fill you in at a later date. We sail on the Magic on May 3rd so haven't exactly "completed" the transaction yet.

ThreeCircles let me know how the transaction works out. This may be the way we go in July. Were thinking about doing some non-Disney excursions and having a rental car may be the best way to go.

There are a couple at the Car Rental Companies at the pier. You may be able to get a better deal than $60 for the day. It is no longer "season." I have used Best Deal Car Rental on many many occassions. (they're at pier). Typical off season price is around $38 for the day. A.
