Car rental in Swan or Car Care Center?

Good morning everyone,

I don't know if it's the right place to ask this, but it seemed the most correct.
We are thinking of renting a car in Alamo to make a trip across Florida after spending a few days at Disney on August 2020. There are options to rent both at the Dolphin Hotel and at the Car Care Center.
Any recommendations to rent it in one place or another?

Thank you very much in advance"

Unless something has changed recently, the car rental is in the Dolphin and not the Swan. I prefer to pick up and drop off at the Dolphin because I find it easier to get there. We often stay in the Boardwalk area. The downside is that you can only pick up at certain times. The Car Care Center is open longer hours.

you can drop off at the Dolphin at any time. The valet takes the car from you. It’s super easy.

Absolutely right! Is the Dolphin Hotel, I choose the wrong animal ;)

Where will you be staying? The Car Care Center offers a free shuttle that will pick you up at your WDW resort. I'm not sure the Dolphin rental location offers that.

Enjoy your vacation!

Interesting!
I'll be in Coronado Springs, very near of Dolphin as I can see in the maps.
How does the free shuttle works? Anyone has used?

We used the shuttle to/from the CCC several years ago. We called from the resort - I don't recall if it was the day prior or the morning of the pick-up. Very easy.

We've rented from the CCC several times and used the shuttle each time. It's very convenient. I think they ask that you call 24 hours in advance, and you can request a pickup whenever it is most convenient for you. For us, we've usually checked out prior to leaving for the parks on that last day, stored our luggage with bell services, and then come back to the resort for the scheduled pick-up time. Worked great each time!

I had a really good experience renting from Budget at the Doubletree across from Downtown Disney last year. Got a last minute 24 hour rental for $35 picking up there and dropping off at MCO. They let me choose from several cars but I went with the full size crew cab Ford truck. Might check the prices there as well. You could take a bus to Downtown Disney then walk over.
