So we arrive Monday evening in MCO. Normally we use Wegoshop for food and water delivery but because we are arriving late in the evening the delivery fee is pretty high and I am exploring other options. My question is, if we rent a car for 1 day from Enterprise, will they pick me up at the hotel and drop me back off there? What would be the best option is to be able to pick up the car at the airport and then have them pick up the car from the hotel. Not sure how it works at all because I have never rented a car before. Thanks for the help.:goodvibes

If you take ME to an on property hotel, Enterprise will pick you up and take you to their location at DTD. They will also take you back to your hotel when teh rental is over. I know they allow one way rental from WDW to MCO for a fee but dont know about the other way.

Alamo will also transport you from an onsite hotel to the car care center for rentals

I know most other rental agency do not charge the one way rental fee in Florida. We have rented from Alamo, Budget, Dollar and Avis and never paid a fee. Budget, Dollar and Avis have rental locations at the various hotels by DTD. We would drop the car off at the hotel then make the 10 minutes walk to DTD to catch the bus to our resort.

So if you did not want pay the extra fee for grocery delivery and don't want to pay an extra one way charge by using Enterprise check out the others who do not charge. Alamo has 2 locates at Disney one at the Dolphin hotel and the other is at the car care center and with a 24 hour advanced notice they will shuttle you to/from your hotel. Otherwise you can just walk to the other locations that are by DTD. It really very easy to do.

Would the delivery fee be more than the cost for renting a car? Even if it's about the same cost, I think time on vacation (especially at WDW) is much more valuable than a few dollars for grocery delivery. Just think about the time it's going to take to shuttle to/from the rental agency, execute the rental, drive to/from the grocery store, etc...
Just my 2 cents.

My husband said the same thing. He said figure out how much it costs just to be on vacation and tack that onto the cost of the rental car. I bit the bullet and did the order. Not going to bother with the car rental.

Thanks for all the help everyone.:goodvibes
