Car rental company experiences out of TPA (Budget vs Alamo)

For those of you who have rented out of TPA the last few years (since the rental car counters were relocated), how have your experience been with Budget and Alamo? I did not have luck with Budget's Fastbreak two years ago, but I am wondering if they are truly "skip the counter" now? I'd love to use National, but the rates are outrageous for our trip. We have a "skip the counter" reservation with Alamo reserved, but no experience with Alamo at TPA.

We have used Alamo(booked through Costco) at TPA at least 5 times, since we sometimes combine a stop in the Tampa area where I have relatives and then head to WDW. We always skip the counter, so we head to the transportation that takes us directly to the garage. It has worked well.

I will note that Alamo at TPA was the only rental pick-up where I was asked to produce my Costco card. This happened twice, with the same gate agent, but the last time was about two years ago. Not a problem, since DW had her card in her purse. I never carry mine.
