We have used Budget , Avis and Dollar at MCO. Our first couple of trips back in the 80's we rented offsite and spent hours of our precious vacation time first in a shuttle bus and then in huge lines at the agency. Never again would I do this. I have had no problems with any of the companies we've used at MCO. The first time my dh joined me on a Disney trip we booked a compact with Budget for $77.00 {taxes, etc included!!}, even the counter person could not believe the rate!! Now my dh is a big, football player size guy and of course wanted to upgrade to a bigger car but $77.00 is so cheap!! The counter person asked if we minded taking a brand new Ram pickup and so began the pixie dust!!

We used Alamo. At first I was upset at the fact that you had to take a shuttle over to their place, but we didn't have to wait long there. Also, trying to find the Alamo place when the time came to return the car was easier for us than trying to drive to the airport (LOL).

We've used National on our last two trips and were very pleased. I got a great rate for this past April. It was $205 for a full-size for 10 days!

Have used both National and Dollar over the last 5 years but think I prefer Dollar anymore over National. Dollar seems to have a good rate on mini-vans a lot of the time, and with 2 sets of golf clubs, plus bags, it is nice to have the extra room. We have used their FastLane and have been impressed with their service. Last trip in May used National and thought the workers were rude and not helpful. Arrived at 1 a.m. and EA was short on EVERYTHING - basically only had pick-ups to chose from. We had reserved a full size car and the attendant finally found us something to use. There were lots of vans on that aisle, but he wouldn't let us take one. Last December, with Dollar, had a compact reserved and none were clean, so attendant asked if we would mind taking a mini-van same price. Yeah, right! Anyway, I think I prefer the customer service I have received with Dollar!

I usually pick the on airport agencies based on price. A few years ago Dollar had about the best prices. National seems to be the best now. EA also allows you get your car quickly.

Last year on the day we were leaving Orlando, our youngest son(then 4) got sick that morning. Throwing up running a slight fever. He got sick a couple more times on the way to the airport. When we got to National to return the car and were explaining to the lady checking us in she grabbed one of the guys who worked for her and had him drive us to our terminal. I thought that was incredible service since it would have been much easier to just tell us which way it was to the shuttle. I have always us National on business, but have simply taken the cheapest rate on leisure trips. However if a particular destination has EA service I will always use it.

Our last trip we used Avis. They were awesome! My dh was impressed with how close they were from baggage pickup!
