Car rental at the port?

A question for you D-cruise pros out there:

Are there any rental car offices on or near the Radisson and/or the cruise terminal? We are flying into Orlando and seems like it would be cheaper to rent a car and drop it off than to do the limo service.

Budget is within a couple of blocks of the Radisson. You could walk the distance in a couple of minutes, if you decide not to wait for the shuttle to the Radisson.

We used Avis for previous trips but decided on Budget this time since Avis had moved from the Radisson. We got a $15/day (yes, $15!) rate on the internet, picked the car up with no line at MCO, and dropped it at Budget in PC the next day. No wait for the shuttle. We'll use Budget from now on...

Nysie...as I recall I simply hit "best available rate" when searching Budget on the internet, and got the $15. rate. With taxes and airport fee, total was about $22.00 for the one day.

We reserved a compact, but were upgraded to an intermediate car at the counter. They even asked us if we wanted a Mustang convertible, but it was raining that day (and since we own one at home) we declined. As far as timing, this was Jan. 30 as we were on the Jan.32 Eastern.
