Car rental at port?

I need to rent a car from the orlando ariport and take care of things around Fl for a few days and turn in the car at Port Canaveral before we go on our cruise.
For the DCL veterans out there, are there any Car rental places at the port? How close are they? I want to drop off a family of 5 and luggage with the rental car and then take it back myself and hopefully get a shuttle ride back while they are waiting in line?
Is that doable there? If so how feasible is it?
I was hoping they might even have some car rental places across the street or something.

I have been in the same dilemma, need car from MCO to WL, then to PC on the day of the cruise, on a Thursday and Friday, the week before Christmas - am probably going to end up spending more on the car than on an excursion - ugh!!

I just did the same thing in June. My family was spending sometime in Disney before going on the cruise, so I picked up a car at Orlando (MCO) used it for 3 days and returned it at Port Canaveral.

What you are looking for is a combination of two things: 1. a good car rental rate. 2. The ability to drop off a car in a location other than the location you picked it up.

I chose Avis, because it had a good rate, but they didn't charge me additional drop-off fees when I wanted to leave it at P.C.

Avis as with most rental car companies in the P.C. area have shuttle buses to Terminal 8 (Disney's Terminal).

There are a few rental car companies in the P.C. area, so call them up, get a quote, and make sure they won't charge you additional because you want to drop the car off at P.C.
