Car Rental at POR?? or nearby?

Hi all,

We'd like to rent a car for a couple of days during our stay at POR...just wondering if we rent one on-site or if they can arrange something at our request??? If not, where's the closest rental place around... or where would I find the info?

The Dolphin hotel has a car rental service through National and I believe Alamo..be prepared to spend big bucks unless they are having discounts (check the website)..I looked into renting for a little over week end of September-Early October it was going to be over 300.00..i checked at the airport and it less than 200.00..i'm hoping they will have some discounts come out at that time for my time frame..good luck
