Car Rental at Hotel?

Has anyone rented a car directly from the desk at their hotel? What car rental company did you use and what was the fee and type of car. We would like to rent a van or something similar for eight people. We would like it for just one day, early morning to late evening....Thanks so much

You can call Alamo Rental, and they will pick you up at your resort and take you to a rental location to get a car.

We rented a car for one day from Alamo last May, it was $27.00 for a Saturday. Their shuttle picked us up early in the morning and we had to keep it overnight for that price, when we dropped the car off the next morning, the shuttle had us back to the resort within 15 minutes. We booked ahead of time online.
