Car rental and snow chains near disneyland

I am having trouble finding a car rental company that will let us put snow chains on a rental car (pick up near disneyland). I am assuming that we will need snow chains to travel to big bear in Jan. Does anyone know of a rental car company that will let you use snow chains.

I may be wrong, but if it hasn't snowed in awhile, you won't need chains to get to Big Bear.

You may not need chains. Anytime I've wanted to rent a car and use chains I've been denied. Of course the last time I tried was YEARS ago because I have my owns chains for me car.

If you plan on driving up to/through the snow, have you considered renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle instead of using chains?

you might want to ask about it on a city-data board specific to Big Bear, but i imagine they keep those roads very well maintained. unless you end up in the middle of an actual snowstorm while you are travelling to Big Bear, i seriously doubt you would need chains.
