We have a car rented for our upcoming trip to WDW on Monday. My sister is listed as the second driver on the car rental. She lost her license a couple of weeks ago and is currently waiting for a replacement in the mail (this is the standard in Alberta). In the meantime, they have given her a temporary paper replacement license that she can use. However, this license has no photo on it, and I don't think it will be accepted as a legal license in the States. She did ask for the license to be expedited, but unless she receives it tomorrow, she will be out of luck.

Do you think Alamo will accept that as a form of a drivers license?? I have also posted this on a the transportation board.

I believe that they will, their website has this to say on the matter (emphasis mine):

No learner permits or photocopies are accepted. Temporary driver's licenses are accepted only if for change of residence or replacement of lost or stolen license. If no photo ID, the description on the license must match that of the renter.

Thanks - I don't know where you found that, but you're a rockstar! Thanks again!
