Hi everyone i was just wondering if any of you had used the eurostar car park at London and if so how near is it to the station? how easy is it to get to the station? is it expensive?

We are going Mon early - Friday late

We normally travel to London from Wales on the train the night before then stay in a travelodge but have been looking at travelling this way instead

many thanks :thumbsup2

If I were you I'd go with your origonal plan and catch the train to London and stay overnight. Parking in the area costs between £20-£36 per day.

Plus you are going to have to set of very early in the morning to drive from South Wales to get into London in time for the direct service train.

Where the M4 turns into the A4 in London is a nightmare in the morning rush hour. It's taken me over an hour once just to drive 5 miles through that junction then you have the Marylebone Rd / Marylebone Flyover to deal with to which can be very congested in the mornings.

Here is a link to car paking at St Pancras.

Alternatively, maybe you could drive down, carry on round the M25 and stay over then catch the train from Ebbsfleet, assuming your train stops there. Both parking and overnight accommodation would be cheaper than London. You should probably check, but I don't imagine Eurostar would have a problem with you getting on at a different station.
