Car help, anyone have suggestions for a mechanic in Orlando?

My son is down there for a little holiday and hit a deer in Orlando. The car is now overheating.

Any mechanic suggestions? Anyone reliable?

We may need to drive down and help him drive back up and tow the car up.

I just googled online for more info…It might not be safe to drive or possibly cause more expensive mechanical problems…
I can recommend Starling Chevrolet and you can schedule service for Saturday online located on Orange Blossom…I know the Minnie Vans are leased and serviced here. I used this location when I still had my Acadia .
I also have a Jeep and highly recommend the Central Florida Jeep Dealership for service located on John Young Parkway / Commodity Circle.
I also notice the Pep Boys in Celebration is always busy so must be reliable for really close to DisneyWorld location.

About a decade ago we had issues with our car while in central Florida - we weren’t staying on property at the time but WDW has a Car Care Center: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/car-care-center/

They were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful- as a bonus, they were also actually more affordable than where we had been taking our car back home.

Sorry to hear this. My concern is you need a body shop first and then a mechanic.

"In Orlando" covers a LOT of ground. Personally, I would simply google "Car mechanics near <insert area>" You can even add "open today" or some such. Then look at reviews. You can also try contacting your car insurance and seeing if they have recommendations.

I'm assuming if it hit hard enough to damage the cooling system, it could even be totaled. I would start making plans where that is the case. Hope for the best of course, but plan for the worst.

Oh no, that sounds very stressful. How long is the drive? Would a quick flight be better and allow more flexibility? Sometimes accidents can do a lot more damage than expected by optics, I've known lots of people in PA where a deer accident totaled a car.
