My familly recently took a cruise april 19th- 26th on the Disney Magic..
Is there anyone here who was on this tour with us? Have you heard anything?
Here's what's happens for those that want to know.....
We docked at Cozumel on April 21st and went on a port adventure that turned out to be more adventure than we had bargained for!
My husband and I were on the Cozumel ruins and beach tour..
We all boarded a bus. and headed out to the ruins.. Just as we were almost out of the city.
The bus made a sound and the driver pulled over.. He informed us, that the bus had a problem and a 2nd bus would be on its way.
Waited about 25-30 and the 2nd bus shows up.. We all get off and board the 2nd bus.
My husband and I choose the seat right behind the driver this time..
The driver goes to pull out and was in His lane... when heard a LOUD sound hit the side of the bus..
A motorcyclist hit the side of the bus!!!!
The bus driver stop right away and him and our tour guide went help the man on the motorcycle..
The motorcyclist tried to drive away almost getting hit by on coming traffic in the process.
They all finally got over to the other side of street..
The police showed up, And told us we would all have to get off the bus and wait for a 3rd bus!
We unloaded and about 5-10 min later the bus showed up.. And we were finally on our way..
Our tour at the ruins was cut short so we could enjoy more time at playa Mia water park..
Upon returning to the boat, tried and starving!
My husband and I got a phone call from guest services.
They had asked my husband and I to come and speak with them since we were in the front seat and saw everything.. We went down and explained everything..
We were fine... however I explained that it wasn't a magical experience, especially for the children on our tour...
The next day there was a bottle of bubbly and mickey snacks in our room with a note stating 25% of our would be refuned and we would get a free tube rental on castaway..
All in all.. We are fine and have a story.. But I do wonder how others felt about it and if disney made it right with them..
Also if anyone has heard anything about man on the motorcycle or the bus driver.?? (Who's was not at fault according to what we saw)
