We family (Six Adults) will be going to Disney over Christmas, 2014 and we are staying at BCV. We are looking to eat at a quiet TS restaurant with good food the first night we arrive. Has anyone eaten at Captain's Grille for supper and could you please share your experience? Thank you!:):)

:wizard: We have eaten dinner at Captain's Grille our past few visits. We really enjoyed our meals. The crab cakes are excellent and they've had a pasta special when we were there that was also very good. Beside the food being very good, we also liked the atmosphere….quiet and relaxing and we had excellent service. After dinner we walked around the resort and then on over to the Boardwalk….we loved it!

We just went in September for the first time and really liked it! It wasn't crowded and the service was prompt without rushing us. I had a gnocchi starter that was excellent and my sister got a fish special that was amazing.

Love the gnocchi! :goodvibes

We ate at Captain's Grille on our last trip in 2013 and really thought it was good. As another poster said the crab cakes were very good (better than Fultons). It is quiet and you are not crammed in. I think this restaurant is overlooked by many but is well worth going to the Yacht Club from MGM or EPCOT. Hope you enjoy.

We had our kiddos' bday dinner there in November and it was our favorite meal of the week, so much so that we're planning on doing their bday dinner there again this year. The service was great, our server really went above and beyond for our kids, and the food was delicious!

Lobster rolls are pretty good too :thumbsup2

Captain's Grille is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. The food is very good, and we've always had good service. I agree that the crab cakes are excellent.

Thanks for asking. we are trying for the first time in May. Menu looks like a good variety plus we are staying at YC so convenient.

I have been to captains grill at lunch and it was empty. Is dinner normally crowded? Do you think we can do a walk up?
Thanks

We had dinner at Captains Grille in late August and it was great, and busy. It was raining so we came over early on the ferry and were able to get in 30 min early but the dining room was pretty dull.
