Captain's Grille or Trattoria al Forno?

We currently have both places booked for Candlelight Processional breakfast on our last day 12/23. We have never eaten at either place for any meal. However, I hear good things about Trattoria for dinner, but haven't read anything about breakfast. It is slightly cheaper, but I do not know what is included with the CP package. The CMs did not know when I called. Captain's Grille is a breakfast buffet, from what I understand. Thoughts or opinions are welcomed!!

Hello! We ate at Captain's Grill a few times in April since we were staying at YC. They had a breakfast buffet and a breakfast menu. I haven't done CP before so I'm not helpful there, but we liked Captain's Grill for breakfast for what that's worth!

We had breakfast at Trattoria last October. Service and food were both very good. It wasn't CP thought. I am trying to make this same decision. Wanted to try Captain's Grille, but I keep reading the most awful reviews (although they are of dinner) its making me worry about trying.

We've eaten at both (not for CP) & loved our breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, food & service were great & the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Captain's Grille however was just ok, the food was cold, the service was slow & the décor was very dated. The whole experience was just ok at best.
