So when do you have to book Capt Marvin is it avaible on the cruise or an outside activity ?

Any idea if the 9 to 3 full day trip is going to give me enough time to get back to the ship ?

I'm not sure about that. I think I read somewhere on here that the last tender leaves to go back to the ship around 3:30. I would be afraid that you would be cutting it to close.
Maybe someone else can confirm that??

When we were there in December the last tender was at 4:30 BUT I would be very nervous about the full day if it ends at 3:00. we were on the 11:15-1:15 (captian marvins is GREAT btw) and we did not even get back to his store front until about 2:30 and then there is a walk to the pier which takes about 10-15mins. you really get your moneys worth with CM but by doing that he goes over on the time.

We debated taking the full day trip and chose to go with the half day instead - our table mates went with the full day trip and it was amazing and they had a wonderful time. I think they were the only people on thier boat and Capt. Marvins knows what times the tenders leave. They had no problem with getting back ontime. I could kick myself for not going for the entire day. They had a beautiful lunch and beach stop. It would be my choice for Grand Cayman in the future, unless I wanted to fit some horseback riding in as well. You can ask them about timing when you book it. Capt. Marvin's was my favorite activity on our entire cruise.
