Speaking of that, there is a girl in my kids schools with that name. She is 13 now. I feel so bad for her having a rather infamous name like that!!!

Checking in on weight...well, I gained a little last week, but I sure deserved it...my husband has been gone 4 of the last 5 weeks on business travel and I fell back into some old habits. BAD ME! But like last week, I expected not to do well and I got what I deserved. So, I am remotivated as DH doesn't have any more travel planned until the TOAL!!!

Hmmmm gained a pound over the weekend, yikes! We went hiking 6mi on Father's day and I got on my bike again today and went 3mi :)
 
Time for me to check in. I've done a lot since I last checked in tweaking my plans. I was doing the system my brother recommened of shakes for breakfast and dinner and a 400-600 calorie lunch. Just like Slim Fast, but there were fasting days, special juice and everything was all natural. Worked good the first week, but after that, I've had mixed results. I lost more weight on weeks I cheated and then last week, when I stuck to it very religiously, I gained weight. I think I wasn't eating enough. In all, it was a daily count of only 900-1100 calories.

So I replaced the dinner shake with a good meal and also cut out the fasting every week. I'll do it maybe once a month instead. Now I try to keep it between 1500 & 1800 calories. We'll see on Friday how well I've really done. On Sunday it was 11 pounds, so I think by Friday, it will be 12 pounds in 5 weeks.

I've also been using my Wii Fit every day for the past two weeks. I love that thing and for this tub of goo, it's a real workout for me. Most of my muscles are getting used to it, but I have a lot of work to do. There are some things on there that I can remember doing as a teen, things I can physically remember doing... but could barely get through them.

Although I'm making progress, I'm thinking that if I can't fit into my gown two weeks from now, I'm going to see if I can have it altered a bit. It's the one for the princess night which is near the end of the cruise. Even if I can 'just' fit into it before we leave, I'm too worried about gaining weight during the cruise, and the swelling in the hot & humid weather.

There's this whole huge thread about the numerous yummy adult bevvies at WDW. We even have an annual get togther for a monorail drink-a-thon during the Fall Food & Wine Fest.

It's a blast. 1 or 2 drinks at each hotel lounge with snacks and munchies at one of them. Whole thing takes about 4 hours +/- and we usually finish it up with a trip to PI and visits to Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club.

Need to take today off because I'm having trouble lifting my left arm up behind my back ... think put on and take off certain female undergarments. Monday was also a rest day, for those keeping track. ;)

Week one down ... seven to go :yay:

I wonder the same thing! It took me a month to lose 5lbs! Up down up down. I have been much better this week too when I see how much time is left!

Good job on the workouts. :thumbsup2 I just got back on the bike for the first time in about a week. It's not easy! :headache:

So DH drug me out Sunday and we went hiking... Ended up doing a 10mi hike starting at elevation of around 8000ft and going down and then back up. We even saw a bear :scared1:

No really. I'm back.

I've totally ignored WW for the last 6-8 weeks. The good news is that I haven't gained weight.

I really want to lose 5-8 lbs. before TOAL, which is about as small as I can get this 35-year-old-mom body. That way when I gain 5-8 lbs. during the cruise my clothes will still fit!

2.5 points so far today...

Week three of my un-employed diet starts tomorrow....

Hey it really works... I have plenty of time to go to the gym. (sometime 2 times a day.) Anyway with all the extra spinning classes i think i shocked my body into loosing again....

So far after two weeks i am down 13 lbs... :cool1:

I am only 2 lbs away from ONE-derland. (well that was as of this am) I am hoping to get down another 10 before the trip though so i don't have to watch every thing i put in my mouth during the trip...

The only problem to this....:headache: My new formal dress is kinda loose in the top.... Luckily it has a halter strap to hold it up....

Well that and i don't have time or money to buy smaller clothes...

If i keep this up for another three weeks i may need a clothes buddy on the ship to help me out...:rolleyes1

What I don't get is that I'm down below my pre-pregnancy weight, so why don't my old pants fit???

Hey congrats on the weight loss big & small! I always try to remembr that a pound of fat is equal to 4 sticks of butter! :cool1:

I'm only down about 7 myself. I quit WWs & switched to low carb & finally the weight is coming off. I'm hoping for another 7 by the cruise & I'll be tickled pink. Not thin mind you, but pink anyway! :p
