Capone's dinner and show

Hi I’m from the UK and I am really looking forward to my first visit to WDW Florida in 3 weeks time. I have been tuning in to the disboards for a few weeks now and most of my ‘first timer’ questions have been answered by other posts. However….

My boyfriend and I enjoy dinner shows – we are already planning to do medieval and possibly Dixie but we also quite fancy Capone’s, but I cannot find much info on it. Has anyone been? What did you think of it?

I went to Capones when we went to Orlando in 2003. We loved it. It was my boyfriend's 2nd time there, my first. The food was good, the show was cute. When you walk in, you have to give a secret password and then your group gets a mug shot taken together. Ours is one of my favorites from the trip. I have never been to any other dinner show, but I did really enjoy this one.

would it be appropriate for kids?

We took my boyfriend's 6 year old son, his one brother took his 3 year old, another brother took his 2 year old and yet another brother took his 9 month old. The older ones had fun, there was nothing inappropriate for children.

Just my experience here

we went last OCT me DH DD 9 and DD11 MIL SIL BIL and nephew 10

we were less than thrilled
yes the food was good

and the show cute

here is what we figured out

we always go to medieval times where the show is AWESOME
so to us Capones was a bit of a let down

if I could doit again i would do Capones first that way I think it would be enjoyed better cause there wouldn't be any other shows to compare it with

We went a long time ago and we left in the middle of it. The food was horrible and the show was even worse!
