Cap'n Jacks reviews

I have 1 more night left to fill for a dinner reservation, I'd like to try a seafood restaurant and Cap' n Jacks looks good. Looking for reviews opinions. Thanks

Bumping this up for you. I'm also interested as my D-I-L is insisting we eat there. In fact I cancelled a PS for Bomas in order to make space for us to do so. When I called to cancel the Bomas PS the CM told me that Cap'n Jack's did not take PS.

We went there once and never again. The food was terrible. We left and ended up grabbing something at the resort. It was really inedibile.

Unfort. this place leaves little to be desired. The service was sub-par, the food inedible. On the plus side the do have killer margaritas!

Uh Oh! The same thing happened to us in January at the San Angel Inn in Epcot. My 8 y/o GD said 'This is not Mexican food. This is yucky! Can we go somewhere else?'. We literally left almost all the food on our plates and had to go somewhere else to eat. Of course we're from Texas, so going there for Mexican food was our first mistake. My D-I-L has said something about eating there in September, but thankfully said it in front of my other son and GD who promptly told her how bad it was. She finally decided against San Angel Inn, but still wants to give Cap'n Jack's a try.

I was just going to ask about Capn Jack's - was thinking of trying it...DH reminded me that last year when we were at Pop he got into a conversation with a fellow next to us at the pool who went to CJ the night before and said it was horrible....

Wretched. The worst restaurant in WDW. Save the big bucks for someplace else. If you really want to stop in (admittedly, the lakeside location is a draw), order drinks and appetizers at the bar.

Thanks for all your reviews so far.....very helpful. I'll definetly check out another restaurant. Look for my next new thread which will be asking about reviews of another restaurant I'm considering....lol

I'm not a particularly picky eater but Cap'n Jack's is in the "absolutely never again" list. The food was so incredibly bad that I didn't finish my dinner. Neither did my partner or my younger brother.

But as one poster said, they do have some pretty great margarita's!
