Cap'n Jack's - Reviews please

Yes, and I didn't like it. The pasta was very overcooked, the dish itself tepid, and the server unconcerned.

I won't be returning there again any time soon.

For some reason, of all the restaurants on the dining plan, my kid picked THIS one as the one he most wants to go to. Reviews I've read have been mediocre-to-good.......I like the fact that on the dining plan you can "add a lobster for $12." to any entree and not have to pay the $12. I've heard some comments that this restaurant is overpriced (in case you're not on the dining plan, jm).......and that it's best to stick with a shrimp cocktail and a steak here.
Also I've heard that once you get to Downtown Disney it's a LONG WALK to Capn' Jacks, so if you have a reservation plan to arrive a little early.

:confused3 We like it. Not our favorite. But either at lunch or dinner, the food and service has been good and it is more quiet than most WDW restaurants.

If you're using Disney buses, it's not far at all...right next to Rain Forest.

Captain Jacks is on the East side so park in the appropriate lot and it's not much of a walk. We like this restaurant although I'm not sure I would pick it for dinner. It reminds me of old Florida. On our last visit we had crab cakes and the were very good as was the service.
