Having a tough time picking my last dinner ADR....So which one has better food and better atmosphere? My family has not visited either and are having a hard time deciding.

We have not tried Cap'nJacks yet (have an adr for Aug) but would highly reccommend Boma.

Two very different restaurants. I like them both.

If I had to choose, and I had not been to either, I would choose BOMA because it is an incredible experience, lots of really good food, and in a beautiful hotel and atmosphere.

Capt Jacks, I tried in Sept for the first time and I've been going to Disney a long time. Great dinner and I'm going back in Sept, but I could probably get that same dinner/atmosphere a million places.

BOMA, again, truly a new adventure and I think everyone should go at least once. Food for even the basic foodies, but lots of neat things to try, and yummy desserts. Schedule in time to enjoy the hotel lobby, animals etc too !

while most people will not agree with me, we enjoyed Capt Jacks much more than Boma.

Boma just didn't live up to all the hype. Everyone says what a wonderful experience it is, but we were underwhelmed by it.

My kids still talk about Capt Jacks and can't wait to return. I have to add we had a wonderful waitress there while our waitress at Boma was adequate.

We love them both. They're both on our itinerary for July. If I had to pick between the two, though, it would be Boma.

We found Capt Jack's to have ok food and ok service and nothing really special. It put us in DTD where we wanted to be that night and it was fine but I would not go out of the way for it.

I haven't been to either so can't really advise you too much, but I have ADRs for Cap'n Jacks for August. However, the reason we chose this restaurant was because they served Lobster Tails... we figured we would have a steak and add-on a lobster tail.... or failing the availability to do this on the DDP, one of us would order the 2 lobster tails and the other would order steak, and we would split these... but I was reading some posts a few days ago and found out that they have changed their menus. Their dinner menu still contains the 2 tails, but no steak at all... there is no longer the option to add on tails and they only have 6 entrees to choose from (dinner menu). We decided to go ahead and keep the adr but I have to say I am rather disappointed.

Boma would be the better choice. Great experience, wonderful food, you'll see a few dishes you haven't heard of and can try and probably like! Great for breakfast or dinner.
