Which would you choose and why. We had originally narrowed this down to Cap'n Jack's but I saw some not so great reviews and now I am wondering if we should go or not. The main reason we had chosen this was for the Lobster my husband was really looking forward to it. Is there another place that serves lobster? We will be on the dining plan and this was a big selling point to him with this deal as he normally wouldn't order something quite as expensive. Boatwright's was our next choice for a TS (not for lobster of course). Sorry I am rambling. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd go to whichever one appeals to you more. Everyone's taste is different and you may not agree with other people's opinions.

If the menu appeals to you, go for it!

I know, you are very right and unfortunately both sound appealing to us. However, since we have never eaten at either one I am just trying to get a feel of which would be better.

We've never eaten at Capt Jacks, so I can't comment on it. However, on our June trip this year we ended up eating at Boatwrights at POR - without an ADR actually - and it was great! My husband got the prime rib and he said it was one of the best he's had! I had the pork and it was wonderful. As with most Disney restaurants though - too much food! :goodvibes
I'd just go with whichever menu you think suits you best and ENJOY!!!

When you say "lobster" do you mean Maine lobster or would lobster tails fill the bill. If so, Fulton's Crabhouse would probably be to your liking. I know I really enjoy it! It's right across the water from Captain Jack's and the food is infinitely better! They have twin lobster tails as well as Maine lobster (the Maine lobster is VERY expensive though).

My son wants to go to Boatwrights because they have cheesesticks  but if its good we may go there. I have never seen many reviews.

I was going to say Fultons and according to allears Yachtman Steakhouse also has lobster. We went to Capt Jacks once and it was very dissapointing...

boatwrights is great. i refuse to waste my weight watchers points on bad food~captn jack. go to boatwright's you'll be glad you did! :earboy2:

We got food poisoning at Captn Jacks from some bad shrimp
We were sick for days, luckly we ate there on our last day and got sick on the way home. :scared:

P.S. It was also my honeymoon.

We have always had good food at Boatwrights, we've eaten there 2/3 times.

There is an excellent lobster tail at Coral Reef.
