Cap'n Crunch Ice Cream is now on my must-do list

I don't know what capt'n crunch is, but I'm gathering that it's our equivalent of cocoa-pops.
Either way, sounds fab!

It's flavor is the old brown sugar and butter over rice dish that was popular back when it was made (I never had it either) but there might be some people still alive that do remember it and that's it flavor. I personally don't mind it but I'm sure pete has more childhood memories of getting this cereal than I do.

If you have a planet hollywood in your area, they use captain crunch as breading for a chicken dish they sell. you might be able to ask them to just make you a bowl of cereal with it assuming it's not already crushed.

I think there was a Cap'n Crunch PB version at one time. My favorite is Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries!
Was just going to say exactly this......to BOTH things! :) I actually never liked the taste of the cereal itself, JUST the Crunchberries! :)

We don't have planet Hollywood here, at least, none I've ever heard of along the entire eastern coast of Australia?

We do have TGI Friday, which I actually don't mind for the happy hour and burgers that remind me of the states, our burgers are very different to American burgers.

Cap n Crunch was always pretty good(better with Crunchberries) ...but no where near as good as Fruity Pebbles. I can attest that is wonderful with ice cream!

I will admit that I'm not a huge ice cream guy. I much prefer Italian ice (water ice for you locals) but after hearing Pete mention this on the show, I've put it on my list for our upcoming trip. I promise to report back after I have it.

Oh man, I'm so behind on shows. I will definitely have to check out Cap'n Crunch Ice Cream as well! One of my favorite Publix fro yo flavors tasted like peanut butter Cap'n Crunch.

Haven't had Cap 'n Crunch in so long I don't remember, but I know Triscuits can DEFINITELY hurt (especially if you make a pig outta yourself, like me!) :)

Every now and then I would get some Cap N' Crunch Cereal and bring it to work. Lots of people munch while doing office work. I would eat it dry, but slowly, and I thought it was pretty good dry, or with milk. If you have a lot, it can be quite the sugar rush!! LOL! Delish !

Do you remember Boo-Berry, Count Chocula and Frankenberry cereal when you were a kid? Think it had flavoured & highly coloured mini marshmallows. It would turn the milk in your bowl into neon blue or pink? Like Lucky Charms? We had it as a special sugary treat every once in a while.

Oh yes - I remember them all, and was a "weird" kid (still weird, as an adult!) LOL. Didn't like any of 'em 'cause they're all too sweet. I remember Cocoa Pebbles too. :)

My fave cereals growing up were Rice Krispies, and sometimes Life (I know - sweet, but not as bad as some). I also liked Raisin Bran, Cheerios (plain, no flavors back then),and even Special K. I liked when my stepmom would get the big Kellogg's variety packs of the small boxes, so I could have a variety. My Dad's fave was Corn Flakes, which were too plain for me, and Frosted Flakes were too sweet, but sometime I'd get stuck with his Corn Flakes. :) I also occasionally liked Shredded Wheat, but that I would put some sugar on.
