Capital One Rewards mile to purchase park tickets - anyone?

I would like to redeem my Capital One no hassle miles for park tickets purchased through Undercover Tourist. Does anyone know whether this is possible? In other words, will the Undercover Tourist purchase be recognized as an eligible travel expense by Capital One, thus allowing me to use my miles?

I have not used Capital One for WDW tickets, but have used it for many travel items. I just go into the section where you choose to use your points, and it will show all eligible purchases. I use the purchase eraser section. I am sure you already know this, but if you do not have enough points to use for ALL of the purchase, you can indicate how many tickets were purchased and by increasing the number of tickets, that decreases the amount of points used.

I wonder how strict Capital One is with this classification. I have hear that people have used the Barclaycard to erase ticket purchases through undercover tourist.

Limpy, I've got some experience with the Barclaycard Arrival, and some thoughts on the Capital One Card based on my assumptions that I hope to confirm soon. Hopefully between the two of us and anyone else interested, we can put a pin in this.

Using Barclaycard Arrival at Disney World:

1. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets Through Undercover Tourist: Confirmed
2. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets Purchased as a part of room/resort/trip reservation with Disney World Resorts: Confirmed
3. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets charged to your Disney Property Hotel/Resort: Confirmed
4. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets purchased through Orbitz/Priceline: Not Confirmed
5. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets At the Gate: Not Confirmed
6. Using Arrival Points for Disney Tickets that are not a part of a package trip/resort stay on the Disney Reservations Hotline: Not Confirmed

We can try to get the same list going for Cap One, and try to change the Not Confirmeds to "Cannot dos" or "Confirmeds"

As for Capital One:

1. Others have confirmed is that you can use the points on Disney ticket purchases through Orbitz and other travel portals
2. My assumption is that you can use the points for Disney tickets charged to your Disney property room, just like with Arrival Points
3. I assume points work against Disney packages/trip reservations that tickets are a part of
4. I have not heard if they work through Undercover Tourist
5. I have not heard or confirmed if they work at the gate/not as a part of a trip/package

I hope to get the Venture Card with current bonus for my wife, and while we have been doing Gift Cards at Kroger during 4X fuel, I anticipate putting a 5 day Adult MYW ticket on the credit card either through Undercover Tourist or Orbitz to confirm if this works. I may also do a few others that seem likely and cancel the purchases once they post to confirm if they post for purchase eraser.

If anyone can share more from their experiences to help us complete our list, thanks a lot!

I have a Cap One Reward Miles card and I've only ever erased airfare. I never thought to use it for Disney tickets. I'll have to keep this in the back of my mind for future though.

For example with 4 park tickets..a total of say $1000... does it post on the capital one travel aspire card as one $1000 transaction, or as four separate transactions as $250? I need it to post as one transaction to get the best bang for my buck with my reward miles. For example, when I recently bought our four flights, at total cost of $1000...even though I paid for the flights in one transaction, and it appeared on the pending transactions as one $1000 airfare transaction, when it actually went to the posted section, it appeared as 4 separate $250 airfare tickets. Which means I'd be wasting some reward miles if decided to use the purchase eraser.

I bought some tickets over the phone from Disney, not part of a package, and it did not show up as a travel expense. It's on my list to call them and see if they will manually change the code so I can redeem some of my points.

Tickets (if bought through Disney's site) should post as 1 transaction for all tickets bought (including parties, etc as long as you get them all at the same time in the same transaction).

Sorry for the delay, as mousehockey37 pointed out, all tickets were purchased in one transaction and then redeemed in one transaction.

Chase Sapphire should code as travel on underground tourist. depending on which card you have, u will earn 2x or 3x.
If you want a good read, there is a thread called "I love credit cards very much" that has a ton of information on the Chase Sapphire.
