Can anyone please tell me what the buffet is like here. What kinds of food do they offer? My husbandreally like the idea of shrimp, but is it peel and eat?? Thanks
The shrimp is peel and eat. They also have mussels and clams and usually a clam chowder in the fish area. There are plenty of non-fish options as well, (beef, chicken, veggies) and a kids buffet spot. They also have a whole dessert area. DH LOVES Cape May Cafe, and we go there on every trip.
This is somewhere we've always avoided because my DH is allergic to crustaceans. Luckily, I'll be headed down in May with DS and my Brother, so this will be a great time to try out Cape May. It's one of those places I've always wanted to try, but never had the chance.
Cape May has always been one of our favorite restaurants. We were not as pleased last time we went (December) as it seems like they had cut back on the number of their seafood selections. It was still a great meal and we plan on going again I would just like the all you can eat crab legs back that you could order on the side.
Cape May is good, but it was very busy in September & I did not like the buffet set up/lines. The shrimp are peel & eat, the caesar salad is excellent as well as the kids chicken strips. Here is a copy of the menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_cmc.htm
